Christmas market in Plauen

With a duration of four weeks and over 50 traders, the Plauen Christmas market is the largest Christmas market in the Vogtland region. It all kicks off on 25.11.2025 with the traditional light procession, when the Vogtland Christmas figures "Bornkinnel", "Rupperich" and "Wattefraa", together with Santa Claus and the Christ Child from the twin town of Steyr, bring the Christmas light from the gallery of the "Ewiges Leben" visitor mine to Plauen's old market.
