Be there when Leipziger Neuseenland is transformed into a true hiking Eldorado again from 2 to 4 May 2025!
The unique hiking experience in Leipzig's New Lake District will take place from 2 to 4 May 2025. When the area around Leipzig fills up with thousands of hikers on the first weekend in May, it's time again for the annual 7 Lakes Hike, the largest hiking event in Central Germany. The 7 Lakes Hike has been taking place in Leipzig's Neuseenland region with participants from all over Germany since 2004. It offers over 70 different hiking routes for families, leisure and long-distance hikers, with numerous refreshment stops along the way. Up to 7,000 participants are once again expected to take part in the event.
