A peaceful route through snowy winter forests. Small detours to Zinnwald or to the Kahleberg are possible.
The route starts at Altenberg Tourist Information at the station. First, you walk through the spa park to the ski lift. Then follow the cross path to Europark. From here you walk along the Aschergraben towards Zinnwald. Turn right onto Goldhahnweg and continue hiking until you reach the K-Wing. At the end of the path you cross the B170 and come to the large hiking and trail parking lot. Continue on this to the K-Wing until you reach clearing 31. Follow this to the I-Wing and turn right. At the next intersection keep left to get onto the Old Zaunhäuser Way, which leads you towards Erlebnisberg Altenberg. At the sledding hut turn left again. The pedestrian path on Rehefelder Street leads you back to the starting point.
