Passing the exhibit "Rentners Ruh," you enjoy beautiful views on this route, explore the industrial history of the small town, and discover some gems.
Passing the idyllic miniature exhibit "Rentners Ruh," the Hammerteich pond, the Tabakstanne, and along the historic iron route, you can enjoy scenic views over the Three-Fir Town while hiking. Over the "Forzbachl" spring, you hike with great views into the romantic small town. A small detour leads you to the Wille Gottes Stolln, where "Thalheimit," arsenic pyrite of special quality, was mined.
Back in the small town, where many old buildings of the stocking industry are still visible, a visit to the impressive town hall is also worthwhile. Behind it is the "House of Local History," where you can learn about the town’s history and discover historic evidence of stocking knitting that shaped Thalheim from the 18th to the 20th century.
Guided tours in the Wille Gottes Stolln and the House of Local History are currently not possible; otherwise, you can visit these attractions by appointment with the Thalheim Mining Association and the Thalheim Local History Association.
