The route starts at the parking lot of the mountain pool in Jonsdorf. The route follows the Red Dot on Hainstraße (K8651) heading south until the Holsteinweg. Here you need to turn onto the Green Dot towards Kroatzbeerwinkel and continue southwards to the next forest intersection. From here, the route follows the Red Line to Kellerbergbruch. You are now directly in the millstone quarries and follow the nature trail signs from here. About 60 m northeast from Kellerbergbruch you will reach the rock formation "Taube" – above the Weißen Bruch. There is also a covered rest area here, and passing the rest area and after about 30 m you have a view of part of Jonsdorf and the Jonsberg. You then return a short distance and continue to the quarry smithy, where the tools of the stone breakers from the four quarries were prepared. If you want, you can take a short detour to the schnaps storage, a former hut whose stone walls still stand. From the quarry smithy, head west towards the Schwarzer Bruch show mine to reach a flat area that was used as a shelter place for horses during quarry times, which were needed for transporting the millstones. You can take an approx. 80 m detour to look from above at the north wall of the Schwarzer Bruch. Continuing on the nature trail, the route leads to the Schwarzer Bruch, which is accessed from the west side. The Schwarzer Bruch (show mine) itself is locked and can only be visited with a guided tour, but the nature trail leads around it and via natural stone stairs you reach the south wall, allowing you to look down into the quarry from here as well. The route then continues onto the Orgelsteig, where shortly after the Schwarzer Bruch you can discover the rock formations "Nashorn" and "Berhardiner" as well as a bit further on the "Löwe". The Orgelsteig leads the route further uphill to its namesake rock formations – the Small and the Great Organ. A bit further south, the route meets the Alpenpfad, which it follows. Going downhill on the Alpenpfad you can spot the "Dackel", the "Teekanne" and the "Zwerg". At the end of the Alpenpfad, you encounter a wooden carved eagle owl and the Hochwaldmännlein. On the way back from here the route follows the Green Dot, passes above the area of the Jonsdorf open-air stage, and meets the crossroads with the Blue Line. The route follows the Blue Line over the old sports field to the Holsteinweg and back to the parking lot.
