Seiffen-Neuhausen-Seiffen

The path begins in the center of Seiffen and leads a short way uphill along Bahnhofstraße. At the next junction, keep slightly right and head towards the district of Steinhübel. There, in the built-up area, turn right again, uphill through fields and meadows to the forest edge and then left here through some houses. Behind that, walk right along the valley slope. Soon you cross a large clearing where you take the path over the bridge. After leaving the clearing (please close gates), some houses of Dittersbach (a district of Neuhausen) soon appear through the dense spruce forest. After a short time, you will find on the right, close to the path, a block of serpentinite stone - the legendary baptismal stone. You can learn more on site. The path then continues downhill to the valley road, which you follow into the town center of Neuhausen. The return route to Seiffen (red marking) starts opposite the Neuhausen church. The path leads right towards Schwartenberg, over the so-called Schwarte. At the highest point, it crosses a forested area, in the middle of which a detour to Schwartenberg to the left is offered, which is an excellent viewpoint. From there, continue following the red marking back to the town center of Seiffen.
