The route starts at Edle Krone station and takes us through the valley of the Wild Weißeritz and later over the Klingenberg plateau to Klingenberg-Colmnitz station.

Between Edle Krone and Klingenberg, the Weißeritz has created a particularly charming valley. Near-natural stream meadows with colorful flowering plants and near-natural forests on the slopes, pierced by formerly ore-rich gneiss rocks, form the setting for valuable protected habitats. After walking through the valley, we climb the valley slope onto the Klingenberg plateau. Here we can observe agriculture, forestry, a valuable large traditional orchard, as well as a cider apple plantation and nature in the settlement area before reaching our endpoint at Klingenberg-Colmnitz station.
