Konrad-Winkler-Route

From the starting point at the cable car valley station, follow Vierenstraße, turn right onto Büttnerweg, then go up the stairs. At the curve, turn right onto Karlsbader Straße. Passing the AHORN Hotel Am Fichtelberg, the path leads right up over Viehtrift to Relaxhotel Sachsenbaude. Walk along the Philosopher's Path to the ring road and follow it to the Appartementhotel Jens Weißflog. You pass by "Eckbauer", where you will be rewarded with views of much natural surroundings around the town. Following Emil-Riedel-Strasse and the signs for the Bimmelbahn adventure trail, you reach the railway viaduct. Now, go a bit uphill on Hüttenbachstraße back to the cable car valley station.
