The route starts in Königsbrück between the main church and the castle, leads west over the Schlossberg to Großenhainer Straße, and turns left after 400 meters along the castle park. Then it continues right onto Dresdner Straße/B97 to the next town Lautsnitz. Here it follows at the 2nd intersection a left onto Forststraße, leads past the sports field along the railway route over the Flügel-Spießweg and turns right at Schneise 13. After crossing Dresdner Straße, immediately turn left, drive through Flügel 3 to the next street, keep right there and pass through the town Würschnitz on Ottendorfer Straße. After the ponds, turn right onto the street “Zum Springbach” and continue through Kleinnaundorf.
At “Am Storchennest” the route turns left onto a field path, which you then continue straight. Keep left at “Zum Kohlbusch” and continue through Dobra to Zschorna. Pass the mill pond on the left, then along the water castle and immediately right onto “Am Stausee”. The path continues left, over a bridge across the A13 to Niederrödern, where you follow the signs left to the church. There again left over Kirchgasse, then right onto the Ebersbacher Weg/Zweitannenweg. In Ebersbach turn left onto the main street and leave it before the town exit right onto Naunhofer Straße.
In Naunhof turn right at the first intersection onto Schulstraße, go straight through Lauterbach and Beiersdorf, and turn right before the Nauleis reservoir. In Reinersdorf shortly before leaving the town, turn left onto Göhraer Straße and turn right in Göhra onto Ortsstraße to Kalkreuth. Here briefly right onto Großenhainer Straße, then twice left and once right onto “An der Röder” to Cunnersdorf. Turn left onto “Lange Straße” to Schönfeld, pass through the town and turn right onto Königsbrücker Straße by the castle. Then leave this on the right on a field path at the town exit. After crossing the highway again, turn left to Thiendorf.
There follow the street “Zum Großteich” and continue straight along Welxander Straße. Turn left at Welxande onto Liegaer Straße, pass Kaltenbachteich, and then turn right onto the main street to Liega. Continue straight through the town to Linz, turn right after Linz onto a forest path, and follow it straight to Kraußnitz.
Pass through Kraußnitz straight on and travel to Ortrand. There follow the bike path signs and enter the town via Ortrander Straße. Before the roundabout, turn right onto Schützenhausstraße, left onto Königsbrücker Straße, and continue straight there. Then turn right onto Kamener Straße, cross the railway line, and continue on the street. Turn left at the next major intersection onto Heinersdorfer Straße to leave the town.
In Kroppen turn left onto Heinersdorfer Straße/Dorfstraße to the main street and, after leaving the town, turn right into a forest path after 200 meters. The route leads straight through the forest to Zeisholz, where you follow the street “Neitschmühle” past the pond landscape. Continue on “Am Mühlenteich”, left over Dorfstraße and “An der Schule” to leave the town. After about 500 meters, turn right onto a field path and again after 400 meters turn right onto Kaschligweg.
Follow this and then Neitschmühlenweg through the forest to the next street, turn left there, and travel on Ruhlander Straße to Cosel. Pass through the town on Ruhlander Straße, keep right at the town exit, and continue through the forest on Königsbrücker Straße to Grüngräbchen. Here turn left once and right once onto the “Grüner Weg” and leave the town again via Königsbrücker Straße in the direction of Schwepnitz.
In Schweppnitz, after the cemetery, turn left into Pfarrgasse, cross Hoyerswerdaer Straße, continue on “Am Ring”, turn left into the bush, and then immediately right onto the street “Am Gattertor” and follow this or, later on, “Grünes Tal”/Bachweg to Gottschdorf.
In town turn right onto Neukircher Straße and straight on over Friedensstraße, turn left at the brick barn, and continue cycling along a forest path. After the first houses of Neukirch, turn left onto Schwepnitzer Straße, cross the stream, and then turn right onto the path “Zur Ziegelscheune”. Follow it to Rohrbach, turn left onto Waldstraße/“Zum Zipfelteich” there, and follow the street to the intersection S100/Königsbrücker Straße. Turn right onto S100 and then immediately left onto the street “Am Bürgerhaus” and follow this to Petershain and further to Schwosdorf. Pass through the town on the right via Schwosdorfer Feldweg, continue straight on the country road, and after about 700 meters turn left onto Marktweg. Continue via forest and field paths to S95/Pulsnitzer Straße. Briefly turn left onto this and immediately right again onto Bischheimer Weg to Hennersdorf.
In Hennersdorf travel via Dorfstraße and Waldstraße towards S105, turn left there, and continue to Elstraer Straße to Haselbachtal. In town turn right after the church onto Niedergersdorfer Straße and then continue straight to Gehrsdorf. There briefly turn left onto Bahnhofsstraße, immediately right onto Gersdorfer Weg to Bischheim, and further on Feldstraße and Reichenbacher Straße (S105) to Häslich and Reichenbach.
In Reichenbach turn left onto Pulsnitztalstraße/S104, after 250 m turn right onto the side path, then the 2nd street left over Großnaundorfer Straße and leave the town past the sports field. Follow the signs over field and forest paths to Gräfenhain. The route continues over the local main street to Kamenzer Straße/S100. There turn left to Königsbrück and drive over Querstraße, Curt-Tausch-Straße, Louisenstraße, Alte Poststraße, Marktstraße and Dresdner Straße back to the starting point at the castle.
