Hike through the surroundings of Niederlauterstein and Lauterbach
From the Niederlauterstein castle ruins, our route leads us steadily uphill through the forest and further along the edge of the forest to Lauterbach. From here, we hike back to the starting point.

From the starting point, we cross the Schwarze Pockau and turn right onto the hiking trail. Attention: Do not follow the Pockautal trail, but half left follow the path slightly uphill. We continue uphill along this path until we leave the forest. Here, we keep right and hike along the forest edge to the entrance of Lauterbach. We follow Niederdorf Street and Schloßberg Street (yellow marking). In Niederlauterstein, we turn left at the community center into Gänsegasse and follow it steeply downhill back to the starting point (E3).
