From Bärenstein to Brettmühle

Start the tour from the upper hikers' car park at the Bärenstein and walk in a north-easterly direction on the white-blue-white marked trail (E3) until the Kammweg marker appears in the valley. Now follow this. The section along the raft ditch and the Pöhlbach stream is simply romantic. After the Brettmühlen refreshment stop, you hike, marked white-yellow-white, upwards towards Kühberg. In the candle world, a light comes on for everyone. But don't pull out the candles, keep going, because you still want to climb the Bärenstein. To do so, walk along the ridge path in the opposite direction. The steep climb! After a stop at the mountain hotel, walk a few metres back to the summit cross and continue along the ridge path to the starting point.
