Feeder trail 1 to the ridge trail in Carlsfeld

The FIS rules of conduct for cross-country skiers and the trail regulations of the German Ski Association apply on the trail.

• Every cross-country skier must behave in a way that does not endanger or harm others.
• Marking and information signs must be observed. Pedestrians and dogs are not allowed to enter the trail at any width.
• It is generally required to ski on the right track - also for groups.
• Overtaking is allowed on the left or right; the skier ahead does not have to leave the track.
• Ski tours must be avoided in darkness and extremely poor weather conditions.
• When resting and catching your breath, the trail must be left.

Please note:

• Mutual assistance is a matter of course and an obligation in emergencies. The trail is supervised by the mountain rescue service (emergency call 112).
• If the trail is wide enough, freestyle technique (skating) is allowed between the directional tracks; however, these must not be damaged.
• It is safe to descend in the snowplow position between the direction tracks.
• When skating, the tracks must not be damaged.
