The hike follows the nature trail. Children and parents learn a lot of interesting facts about the forest.
You start the hike at the car park in Oberbärenburg. From there, head first left towards the town center. Not far from the car park, a green bobsled from the Oberbärenburg sports club draws attention. Then you walk a few meters further to the spa square and turn left onto Langer Weg. This is also where the nature trail begins, which leads through the forest. You continue along Langer Weg. After about 2.5 km, turn left towards Tellkoppe and continue following the signs.
The path now runs a short distance parallel to the ski trail and you will soon reach Tellkoppe, which offers a beautiful view on clear days. There are some benches and a shelter here. Return the same way. Once back in Oberbärenburg, a detour to the 14 m high lookout tower, which is accessible all year round without admission, is worthwhile. Oberbärenburg is a picturesque place offering various dining options.
