On a circular route, you can discover the unique landscape at the Saale Loop along with a visit to one of the most important cultural monuments in the Thuringian Vogtland.
The route starts at the visitor car park in Burgk, about 500 m from the castle. First enjoy the view from the Saaleturm or save it as the crowning conclusion of the route for the end. Visit the Museum Schloss Burgk. A visit takes about 1.5 hours. The hike first takes you to the Sophienhaus and then around Schloss Burgk.

Coming from the federal motorway A 9, you can reach us after just a few minutes by car.
As the entire village area is closed to traffic, please park your vehicle in the car park at the entrance to the village (Saaleturm).
