Village entrance, Marienberg district Satzung (former guesthouse "Sonnenhof")
We start our circular hike in the Marienberg district Satzung at the former guesthouse „Sonnenhof“ and cross the border crossing. On the Old Preßnitz Street we turn right and follow it for about five kilometers, past the community pond, and turn left to Hassberg. We follow the street course for two kilometers straight ahead to the second junction. Here we turn right, up the rocky path to Jelení hora (Hassberg, 994 m above sea level). After our stay on the summit, we go back and down to the right to the road that leads us around the Preßnitz Dam. We walk over the dam wall and down to the right to Kryštofovy Hamry (Christophhammer), passing the church and the Stülpner monument. We continue, crossing the border to the manor house in Schmalzgrube, past the old blast furnace and then turn right onto the old Satzung street, going uphill about two kilometers to the Benedixweg junction. Then we turn left into Hirschsteinweg and go to the „Lonely Peak“. We continue straight uphill along this path to Paschweg. At the Brettweg/Paschweg intersection, we follow Paschweg to the old Satzung street. Here we turn right back to Satzung and the starting point.
