Discover the story of the Moosmannlein and explore Schöneck on our new children's hiking path "Moosmannleinspuren."
The children's hiking path "Moosmannleinspuren" starts at the Tourist Information in Schöneck. From here, it goes for about 4 kilometers down into the town and to the viewpoint rock "Alter Söll," continues along the main street to Albertplatz and into the city park. Via the new youth hostel, you reach back to the starting point. Along the way, you will find numerous play and experience areas, various tasks and puzzles provide entertainment and are meant to support the stamina of little feet.
The path is primarily intended to give families a nice day, but also to bring them closer to the town, include the shops and gastronomy, and tell the story of our city.
The target group is children between the ages of 3 and 8. The path is designed so that you can walk it as a circular route or in several stages on different days. The three large areas Magic Forest, Rock Castle, and Gold Mine can just as well be visited and discovered independently of each other.
Accompanying the path is the discovery book available at the Tourist Info, which guides the children, supports them in solving the tasks, and of course is also a nice keepsake. Additionally, there is a lovely enamel mug and a lunchbox with the sweet motif of the Moosmannlein and his friend Ecki the squirrel. Those who have found all the letters at the end of the path are allowed to collect a small gift at the Tourist Info.
