Christmas market in Leipzig
The history of Leipzig's Christmas market can be traced back to 1458. This makes it the second oldest Christmas market in Germany. This year, from 24 November to 23 December, Leipzig's city center will once again be bathed in Christmas magic. On the night watchman's tour, you can stroll through the atmospherically illuminated alleyways of the city center. The Advent menu in the historic Gasthaus Barthels Hof rounds off your pre-Christmas short break in Leipzig perfectly.
