Holiday home
In the modern, fully furnished holiday home, up to 6 persons can be accommodated. On the ground floor, there is the living room with a fireplace, the bathroom with shower/WC, and the kitchen. Here you will find everything necessary, such as a microwave, 4-burner stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, radio, TV/Satellite, sufficient table and bed linen as well as towels.
On the upper floor, there are 2 bedrooms for 2 and 4 people.
The holiday home is equipped with modern central heating, and the hot water is heated electrically in the holiday home. Additionally, there is a fireplace in the holiday home that can be heated with wood, wood briquettes, or coal brought along.
There is a terrace next to the house, which invites to cozy evenings or barbecues. For children, there is the opportunity to play in the garden. There is also a sandbox and a sunbathing area. Furthermore, an outdoor fireplace can be used, which is also found in the garden.
There is no locked storage space for brought special luggage (stroller, bicycle trailer, bicycles, etc.).
Surroundings
The holiday home is located slightly away from the town center of Olbersdorf in a pleasant, quiet, and central location. As a result, all important errands can be conveniently done on foot. The walking distances:

So you can see that the everyday little things can be done in a short time.
Olbersdorf is located at the foot of the Zittau Mountains. This makes the towns of Jonsdorf (7 km), Oybin (4 km), Großschönau (7 km), Zittau (5 km), Waltersdorf (9 km), and Lückendorf (7 km) quickly reachable, facilitated by a well-developed public transport network.
A popular destination is, for example, Zittau with numerous sights such as the Lenten cloth, the old town, the theater, or the museum. There are also sports opportunities such as the Westparkcenter or the bowling bar. But there are also opportunities in the surrounding towns to experience a lot and have fun while on holiday. For instance, the summer toboggan run in Oderwitz, the ice rink in Jonsdorf, the mini-train, or the neighboring countries Poland and the Czech Republic (don't forget your passport). If you prefer a bit more activity, you can of course reach these destinations by bicycle as well.
From Olbersdorf, numerous beautiful hiking trails lead through the Zittau Mountains to mountains like Lausche, Hochwald, Töpfer. Along the way, nature can be enjoyed, and the fascinating sandstone rock formations can be admired. Many inns along the path invite you to stay with good food.
The grounds of the Federal Garden Show 1999 are also not far away (about 15 min). Once there, you can take a swim in the Olbersdorf Lake right away. Of course, you can also go to the fun pool located about 100 m from the holiday home, depending on your taste.
In Großschönau, there is also the opportunity to visit a wonderful leisure and fun pool, even during the winter months, and to relax in the sauna and solarium.
