Welcome to the oldest café with pastry shop in the health resort Oberwiesenthal! You live comfortably in a holiday flat (new building 2020) stylishly furnished with underfloor heating and fireplace. Sweet smell of freshly baked cakes and tarts in the house included.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have about our beautiful home town and surroundings. We live directly in the quiet town centre. In only a few minutes walking distance you are in the nature with meadows and woods. Oberwiesenthal has well-developed hiking trails and in the ski season you are in about 150 m directly at the ski slope or chair lift. The Advent season is also highly recommended. It is not for nothing that our region may call itself Christmasland Erzgebirge.
Health resort Oberwiesenthal is worth a visit at any time of the year. It lies idyllically at the foot of the 1214 m high Fichtelberg, which is worthy of an ascent, whether on foot or floating with the oldest cable car in Germany. With the Fichtelbergbahn / steam train you can explore the surrounding area. In the village there is a museum of local history and winter sports with changing exhibitions. ...and maybe you will meet our honorary citizen and ski jumping legend Jens Weißflog on your ways.
