With the racing bike through the Meissen highlands

The tour starts in Dresden in the middle of the old town at Theaterplatz. We ride over the Terrassenufer in the direction of the Elbe, turn left onto the Elbe cycle path and thus ride left-island to the northwest in the direction of Meißen. We cross the district of Dresden Gohlis, pass the beautiful windmill on the Elbe cycle path and follow the signs of the Elbe cycle path further in the direction of Meißen.

Shortly after Niederwartha we leave the Elbradweg to the left and follow the signs to Constappel. Here we ride along Langer Weg and ride to the competition part of the exit, the Stoppomat. The start is signposted in the village. The Stoppomat offers a timing for a steep climb that everyone can start themselves. We follow the route of the Stoppomat always uphill, cross the village Kleinschönberg and find the finish of the Stoppomat on the hill of the slope. Here you can stop the timing and compare the time later on the Internet.

Our tour now leads us further to the right over Hühndorfer Straße to Sachsdorf and straight on to Klipphausen. We follow Bergstraße and Soraer Straße until we turn right at the next larger intersection onto "An der Silberstraße". We follow the cycle path to Taubenheim, turn right into the main road, then turn left again "Am Birkenwald" and follow the cycle path. To the left we continue along the Kobitzscher Weg along the Kleine Triebisch over the beautiful bike paths of the former small railway line and along the Jagdsteig to Semmelberg. Here we briefly turn left onto the main road, but immediately in the next village of Robschütz we turn right again onto Neurobschützer Straße, which then leads us left again in the direction of the forest onto the cycle path.

We follow this to Löthain, cross the village to Mehren and Pröda and turn right in the direction of Wachtnitz. Here we follow the Ketzerbach to Prositz and Piskowitz on the right, but leave the villages on the left and follow the cycle path Meißner 8 down to the Elbe. To the right we follow the Elbe cycle path through Keilbusch until we finally arrive in Meißen. Here is time and opportunity for a break! If you have the time and feel like it, turn right into the old town and enjoy the time in one of the numerous restaurants in the historic old town. The ride then continues over the Old Town Bridge to the right side of the Elbe and immediately after that we turn right onto the Elbe Cycle Path. We follow this path in the direction of Dresden until we reach Sörnewitz.

Here we leave the cycle track to the left, drive briefly on the Dresdner Straße again to the left in the direction of Meißen and turn immediately right again on the Boselweg. Here we see the Boselspitze towering out of the landscape directly in front of us. We continue on Boselweg until we reach Langer Graben and turn right onto Köhlerstraße to roll into Neusörnewitz. We turn left into Förstereistraße, which we ride until we reach the train station. After crossing the rails straight ahead, we follow Köhlerstraße through Weinböhla until we turn right into "Rote-Kreuz-Straße" through the Heimatdank settlement.

Via Spitzgrundstraße we now continue straight ahead into the neighboring town of Coswig, past the famous Matyas winery, via Steinweg, Paulsbergweg to the "Mittleren Bergstraße" - following the wine route to Radebeul. Below the vineyards we cross Wackerbarth Castle and then turn right onto "Moritzburger Straße" to continue crossing the town via Bahnhofstraße and reach Altkötzschenbroda. Here, too, restaurants and wine taverns invite you to take a break.

The ride then continues on the Elbradweg, which we take to the left in the direction of Dresden. We do not leave this path until we finally discover Dresden's old town again. The tour ends with the crossing of the Augustus Bridge, to the starting point, the Theaterplatz.
