It's getting wild in the Ore Mountains

Athletes from all over Germany are invited to compete with their peers over four days in the densely wooded mountain landscape. Tradition and modernity merge - the traditional route of the KAMM-BIKE-CROSS will inspire you just as much as the freshly created trails of the TrailCentre Rabenberg. Four days of mountain biking with four varied routes, four different starting lines - can you already see yourself at the start? Thanks to two different route lengths, you ll find the right challenge for you at the Treibjagd im Dunkelwald. Whether you are a professional or amateur athlete, you ve come to the right place. Are four days too much for you? It is also possible to start on individual, selected days.

The dark forest chase shows you the Ore Mountains from different angles with different starting locations and routes every day. Each stage location offers you its mountain bike-specific specialities, the so-called regional "trail delicacies". Programme points on selected evenings round off the overall event. They offer you the opportunity to exchange ideas and network.

Warm up your legs for the coming days with the "Dunkelwald Climb" mountain sprint on Thursday evening at the Rabenberg trail centre. The trails and forest paths in Germany's first trail centre will get your lactate and adrenaline levels pumping. On the next stage, the "Dunkelwald Marathon", the circuit takes you over 30 or 60 kilometres through the Erzgebirge forest. The "KAMM-BIKE-CROSS" stage starts on Saturday in Johanngeorgenstadt with a view of the striking Schwibbogen arch - the region's landmark. Over the Erzgebirge ridge, the route passes the winter sports centres and ski jumps of the Erzgebirge community. The fourth stage, the "Erzgebirgsradrennen" (Ore Mountains Cycle Race), will be the fast-paced finale, crossing the Fichtelberg - the highest peak in Saxony. After four days full of pride, joy and success, you will cross the finish line in the biathlon stadium with its international flair.
