The toughest marathon in Saxony turns 30 this year. The Drei-Talsperren-Marathon in Eibenstock is one of the most beautiful scenic runs in Germany. This year, the 6 starting shots will be fired on September 20, 2025. On this day, athletes will compete in three cycling and three running disciplines: marathon, half marathon and 8 km short distance running and 30, 50 and 100 km mountain biking. The start and finish is traditionally the "Bretschneider Sportstätte" in Bühlstraße 12 in Eibenstock.
On the various routes you have wonderful views of the reservoirs and also climb the second highest peak in the Ore Mountains (only on the 50 km and 100 km routes), the Auersberg. Due to the difference in altitude, the DTM is a real challenge and really gets the leg muscles burning.
